Who is Pioneering the Carequality Interoperability Framework?

While Carequality is supported by organizations of all types and sizes, the initial 2015 roll-out of data sharing under the Carequality Interoperability Framework is led by 13 pioneering organizations. Together, they represent over 2,000 hospitals and an estimated 40,000 clinics across all 50 states, with physician users numbering around 200,000.

These initial rollout participants are dedicated to the development of the Carequality Interoperability Framework and are paving the way for broader participation by the Carequality community, which includes over 70 organizations from across healthcare. These organizations include government agencies, standards development organizations, mental and behavioral health providers, health IT vendors, pharmacies, and many more. Representatives for payers, consumers, long term and post-acute care, and home care and hospice all have a voice in the development and operationalization of the Carequality Interoperability Framework.
