An Information Sharing Workgroup Task Group – Definition of EHI and DRS

This Task Group will build on the work started by AHIMA, EHRA, and AMIA to better understand the scope of EHI that must be included in a response to a request under information blocking, including defining what data elements and types are included in the definition of DRS, as well as identifying operational approaches from varying perspectives (e.g., the data elements that must be supported by developers).

Meetings & Materials
Task Group activities and deliverables will include:
  • Working discussions that drill down into specific issues by actor (or other applicable) community;
  • Findings and recommendations;
  • Guidance/best practices; Questions for ONC and other applicable federal agencies;
  • Collaboration with other Subgroups on issues of mutual interest; and
  • Presentation by the Subgroup Chairs of deliverables and recommendations to the Workgroup.
